A 62 Year History
Marty & Ted, Inc. began selling farm implements in 1946. The company, currently located at 1916 Market Street East in Nappanee, IN, originally opened its doors on the northeast corner of Main Street and Lincoln Street in downtown Nappanee. The company was founded by M.S. Pletcher and Martin Blucker, under the name Pletcher Motor Company-Implement Division.
Blucker entered into full partnership with Pletcher on February 6, 1947 and the company name was changed to Nappanee Implement and Supply Co. They became an official Allis-Chalmers dealer the following month.

In 1949 Pletcher sold his interest in the company to Blucker and Ted Foeckler. They moved to a new building at the present location east of Nappanee.
Marty & Ted also became a Mercury dealer during the 50's.
The corporation finally became known as Marty & Ted, Inc. in 1960, and the Blucker/Foeckler partnership remained until 1978, when Foeckler retired and sold all his shares to Blucker.
Martin Blucker retired in 1980, and his sons, Gene, Dale, and Lonnie Blucker continue operations.
They currently deal in brand name farm machinery, such as Gehl, Agco-NewIdea, and Brillion. They are a parts and service dealer for Agco-Allis and Agco-Gleaner, and have a long history of sellng and servicing Simplicty and Lawn-Boy lawn-care equipment.
